About the Role Precision Castparts is seeking a Forge Scheduler to coordinate the daily forging operations on-site. This role works with the Press Crew, GFM Crew, Pyrometer, and Supervisor to keep the production schedule aligned and ensure necessary Forge Tables and Manufacturing Order Cards are in place.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate the day’s forging schedule with the Press Crew, GFM Crew, Pyrometer, and Supervisor.
- Ensure Forge Tables are present for all material to be forged.
- Receive Forge Tables and Manufacturing Order Cards from the Supervisor.
- Arrange the schedule for maximum efficiency and throughput of forging operations.
- Support overtime as required by production needs (full-time; Monday through Saturday; 8-hour shifts; overtime up to 12 hours per week; additional overtime may be volunteered).
What We're Looking For
- Ability to coordinate schedules across multiple production crews and supervisors on-site.
- Experience or familiarity with forging processes and manufacturing orders.
- Attention to detail in handling Forge Tables and order documentation.
- Willingness to work a Monday–Saturday schedule with potential overtime.
Compensation & Benefits
- This is a full-time hourly position, eligible for overtime pay. Pay is in USD; overtime eligible.
