Job title: Forensic Mental Health Clinician
About the Role Rutgers University Correctional Health Care (UCHC) is seeking a Forensic Mental Health Clinician to provide specialized psychological testing and assessment for adult inmates sentenced to the Department of Corrections. The position reports to the Clinician Supervisor and supports multiple NJ correctional facilities, including the Adult Diagnostic Treatment Center (Avenel), Garden State Youth Correctional Facility (Yardville), New Jersey State Prison (Trenton), Northern State Prison (Newark), and Southwoods State Prison (Bridgeton).
What You'll Do
- Conduct specialized psychological testing and assessment of clinical needs for adult inmates across multiple NJ correctional facilities
- Prepare evaluative reports and contribute to treatment planning
- Collaborate with the Clinician Supervisor and other clinical staff
- Adhere to professional standards, policies, and confidentiality requirements
What We're Looking For

- Ability to work with adult inmate populations in correctional settings
- Strong written and oral communication skills
