This role focuses on supporting federal investigations as a Forensic Investigations Accountant within Deloitte's Government & Public Services practice.
What You'll Do
- Work independently to solve complex problems and evaluate controls associated with complex business relationships.
- In support of Federal investigations and prosecutions, perform complex analysis of financial and business records to support investigations by using criminal investigative tools and other client-owned databases; may serve as a Factual Witness.
- Apply knowledge to the enforcement of Title 18, Title 31 and other applicable statutes of the Federal Criminal Code, and the seizure and forfeiture of illegally derived property; may be responsible for serving as a Factual Witness.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of procedures and techniques generally prescribed under American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) disciplines, and current and anticipated banking anti-money laundering regulations and practices.
- Collaborate with team members on project work and be prepared to lead projects or workstreams and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
