Job title: Foreman/Supervisor
The Foreman/Supervisor will lead formwork operations for concrete structures on Ferrovial/Webber construction projects. They will read plans, supervise form assembly, and ensure accurate placement and stripping of forms, while coordinating with crew and maintaining safety and quality standards.
What You'll Do
- Read and interpret plans to build and install formwork for concrete structures.
- Check forms during concrete placement and direct stripping of forms after placement.
- Install miscellaneous materials and precast concrete elements as needed.
- Prepare for slipforming traffic rails and median barriers.
- Install permanent metal deck forms and operate power tools.
- Lead and mentor team members, sharing knowledge to achieve department goals.
- Participate in proactive team efforts and comply with safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Education: less than High School Diploma.
- Language: ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words; able to print and speak simple sentences.
- Experience: 0-3 years of related construction experience preferred.
- Physical & Skills: heavy physical activity; manual dexterity; able to perceive attributes of objects and materials.
- Working Conditions: outdoor work with exposure to changing weather; loud environment; exposure to moving parts.
- Certifications/Screening: eligible to work in the United States; Webber participates in E-Verify; pre-employment drug screen and medical exam for field positions may be required; background checks may be performed for certain roles.
