About the Role The Foreman will assist the Project Manager with on-site scheduling, installation and configuration of electronic security systems for enterprise clients, and leadership of installation teams on multiple projects. This role focuses on ensuring systems are installed correctly, tested, and meet contract requirements. What You'll Do
- Assist the Project Manager regarding on-site scheduling of work activities and timely delivery of equipment
- Connect control panels, apply requirements, conceal wiring, and install security software
- Install, program and configure commercial electronic security systems (door access, CCTV, intrusion, low voltage, electronic locks, sensors, etc.)
- Troubleshoot new installations to ensure proper operation and code compliance
- Demonstrate Allied Universal’s core values as a leader on the Install Team
- Manage several medium- to large-sized jobs simultaneously within approved hours and margins
- Drive to client sites with a company-issued vehicle to perform installations and verify operation
- Install electrical wiring, panels, cables, and security devices
- Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned by manager What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in physical security, fire alarm, or low voltage industry installing field devices, programming systems, and running medium to large jobs
- Experience with Software House, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Brivo, Milestone, Exacq, Axis, Bosch, Commend, DMP, Open Options, Notifier, Fluidmesh or ONSSIP is preferred
- Ability to obtain proper state licensing (e.g., Low Voltage D license, Alarm Installer Lic.)
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction
- Good communication skills; strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
- On-call availability on a rotational basis
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience Nice to Have
