About the Role The FMS Analyst, Journeyman will support the Pax River program office and assist Case Managers, Program Managers, and the Security Cooperation team in analyzing and managing all aspects of FMS casework, ensuring compliance with AECA, SAMM, ITAR, and DoD policy. What You'll Do
- Support the efforts and actions of the Case Manager/Program Managers/Team Lead for various FMS programs.
- Assist the Case Manager with analysis and management of all aspects of FMS casework IAW AECA, SAMM, ITAR, and applicable DoD policy, coordinating with Security Cooperation team members.
- Respond to Letters of Request (LOR) for Pricing and Availability (P&A) and Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOA); participate in Congressional Notifications; manage Third Party Transfers as required.
- Understand obligation plans and funds management for foreign partners; track and report case financials using approved tools.
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation and provide clear status updates to leadership and customers.
- Ensure compliance with travel requirements and regulatory guidance; stay current with evolving technology and processes. What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated ability to work with large and diverse teams; strong customer relations, analytics, and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with the case development process and Security Cooperation procedures; knowledge of SAMM, ITAR, and DoD policy guidance.
- Experience with LOR responses for P&A/LOA, CNs, and TPT management; understanding of obligation plans and funds management for foreign partners.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and common case-tracking tools (ERPMIS/ILSCIP/related systems).
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic; able to multitask and meet competing deadlines; detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving technology.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or technical field; or Associate’s degree with 2 years’ additional experience; or 4 years additional experience. Experience: 3-10 years working with FMS programs supporting the DoD.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Active Secret clearance. Nice to Have
- Prior experience with DoD FMS programs and government security cooperation activities.
- Familiarity with ERPMIS/IS/ILSCIP tools and related case-tracking systems. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $76,000 - $86,000/year (USD).
