Job Description
To ensure the accurate and timely validation of payment transactions through the application of prescribed processes and procedures, thereby reducing operational risk, errors, and rework.
Qualifications

Degree in Business, Finance or any related qualification

Additional Information
Experience
- 3-4 years in Exchange Control Rulings
- Knowledge of Exchange Control Regulations
- Broad understanding of Payments Operations.
- Understanding of the Bank’s systems, processes and procedures.
- Understanding and facilitation of an active change agent role in assisting business
- Understanding the basics of team dynamics and participation in developing and maintaining a team culture.
- Knowledge of the applicable legislations
Key Responsibilities
- Execute payment due diligence processes and procedures within prescribed turnaround times, ensuring compliance with Exchange Control rulings, regulatory requirements, and internal policies, while engaging relevant stakeholders to facilitate accurate transaction processing, reduce rework, and maintain high service standards.
- Provide guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders in support of Payments strategic objectives, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), delivering quality service, and fostering strong customer and business partner relationships.
- Promote a culture of accuracy and quality by minimizing processing errors, rework, human incidents, and associated financial impacts.
- Coordinate and support internal control reviews, internal and external audits, Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) reviews, compliance reviews, and regulatory inspections by ensuring the timely provision of accurate information, documentation, and responses.
- Monitor and track audit, compliance, and regulatory findings, ensuring that agreed action plans are implemented within prescribed timelines and that identified risks are appropriately mitigated.
