Job title: Food Service Worker, Per Diem
About the Role This role is part of UCSF Nutrition Services, working as a team to provide patient food service that is safe, accurate, timely and responsive to patient needs. It involves stocking and serving portion-controlled hot and cold foods, replenishing stations, restocking work stations, assembling, delivering and collecting patient trays. The individual maintains cleanliness and sanitation of work stations and equipment and provides excellent patient and nursing interactions, serving as an ambassador for the department of Nutrition and Food Services.
What You'll Do
- Stock and serve portion-controlled hot and cold food to patients
- Replenish stations, restock work stations, assemble, deliver and collect patient trays
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work stations and equipment
- Interact with patients and nursing staff to ensure quality service and uphold departmental standards

Compensation & Benefits
