Job Summary
- Prestigious Consulting Group is seeking a commercially minded Food Manufacturing Business & Project Manager to oversee food manufacturing and product development projects while identifying business growth opportunities.
- The ideal candidate will combine hands-on food manufacturing experience with financial analysis, business development, funding awareness, and consulting skills to assess project viability, support commercialisation, attract business opportunities, and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage food manufacturing and product development projects from concept to commercialisation.
- Coordinate formulation, pilot production, scale-up, manufacturing readiness, and regulatory compliance.
- Evaluate project budgets, production costs, pricing, revenue projections, profit margins, and commercial viability.
- Identify potential funding sources and support the preparation of business plans, funding proposals, and investment presentations.
- Develop sales strategies, acquire clients, build strategic partnerships, and identify new revenue opportunities.
- Provide consulting and advisory support on food processing, manufacturing feasibility, business expansion, and operational improvements.
- Conduct market research and identify opportunities for new products, contract manufacturing, and market expansion.
- Prepare feasibility reports, business cases, project updates, and strategic recommendations for management and clients.

- Successful delivery of food manufacturing and product development projects.
- Quality of project financial assessments and feasibility reports.
- New business opportunities identified and commercial partnerships developed.
- Revenue opportunities generated through client acquisition and business development.
- Funding opportunities identified and proposals supported.
- Timely project delivery within agreed budgets and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 4 - 6 years of relevant experience in food manufacturing, food processing, product development, or related project-based roles.
- Hands-on experience working in a food manufacturing facility or food processing company.
- Understanding of food manufacturing processes, NAFDAC requirements, GMP, and HACCP.
- Ability to interpret project financials, assess commercial viability, and understand funding requirements.
- Experience in sales, business development, client engagement, or revenue generation.
- Consulting, business advisory, feasibility assessment, or commercial strategy experience is an advantage.
- Strong project management, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Salary
N400,000 - N600,000 monthly.
