Food & Beverage Attendant
Job Description
As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will have the opportunity to create memorable dining experiences for our guests and make every visit truly special.
Working alongside our Food & Beverage team, you will help deliver exceptional service across breakfast, lunch, dinner, bar, and event operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting guests warmly and professionally as they arrive
- Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Delivering food and drinks to tables in a timely manner
- Clearing tables, resetting and maintaining a clean dining area
- Handling guest queries, requests, and complaints with care
- Processing payments using POS systems and handling cash/card transactions
- Restocking supplies and ensuring stations are stocked and tidy
- Following hygiene, safety, and food handling procedures at all times
- Supporting colleagues and working collaboratively as part of a team
- Setting up and packing down service areas as required
- Communicating any dietary needs or guest concerns to kitchen team
- Completing daily cleaning and closing checklists
Qualifications
Whilst talent and attitude are our primary requirements, you will also bring:

A genuine passion for quality, presentation, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage positively with guests from diverse backgrounds.

A strong command of both written and spoken English.

The physical ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and safely lift or carry light trays and equipment.

Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

Previous experience in hospitality, food and beverage service, is preferred, but not essential.

The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

A friendly, professional attitude and a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.

A positive, proactive, and can-do approach to work.

Strong organisational, communication, and time management skills.

An understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices.

Flexibility to work a rotating roster across seven days, including weekends and public holidays, as required.

New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency.
