Floor Supervisor

About the Role The Floor Supervisor will be a pivotal member of the Salomon NYC store team, overseeing daily sales floor operations, driving store goals, and mentoring sales associates to uphold Salomon’s brand standards and deliver exceptional customer experiences. What You'll Do

• Lead Sales & Team Performance: model exceptional service and sales skills to drive store goals; mentor associates to foster a positive, high-performing team culture.
• Deliver an Outstanding Customer Experience: provide a welcoming, personalized shopping experience while maintaining visual and operational standards reflecting the brand.
• Support Store Operations: oversee daily tasks including inventory, merchandising, and loss prevention to ensure smooth, efficient store operations.
• Lead by example on the floor, coach part-time and seasonal staff, and collaborate with the Store Manager and Assistant Managers to execute action plans for sales targets and KPI goals.
• Ensure security and loss prevention policies are followed and assets are protected.
• Maintain cleanliness and visual standards on the sales floor, fitting rooms, and stock areas; assist with back-of-house processes as needed. What We're Looking For
• Previous experience in a retail or supervisory role with a proven track record in sales and customer service.
• Strong ability to lead, inspire, and coach a team while maintaining a positive work environment.
• Natural curiosity, high energy, and a positive outlook; enthusiasm for Salomon’s brand and products.
• Ability to resolve challenges professionally and gracefully, ensuring a seamless experience for customers and team members.
• Background in customer service with strong communication and problem-resolution skills.
• Availability for full-time shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends; Black Friday availability and Holiday Season availability from the second week of December through the end of the holiday season.
