Job title: Floor Care Technician | Per Diem - Days
About the Role Under the direction and supervision of the director and/or supervisory staff, the Floor Care Technician cleans all areas within the facility according to departmental policy and procedure and maintains floors with the proper equipment. They follow all applicable safety regulations.
What You'll Do
- Complete all required job specific training.
- Run all floor care equipment according to department policy and procedure.
- Follow procedures for stripping and refinishing all floor types.
- Follow procedures for scrubbing and burnishing all hard flooring.
- Follow procedures for extraction of carpets.
- Follow departmental guidelines and mark project areas with appropriate warning signs.
- Follow procedures for completion of the Recycling program.
- Follow CARES behaviors and proper customer service.
- Clean and maintain all floor care equipment and storage areas.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the facility director or supervisory staff as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Good customer service skills.
- Prior experience in a health care facility, or large facility, cleaning and performing floor care is preferred.
- Education: None required.
- Certification, Registration & Licensure: None required.
