About this role
Fleet Technician
Sunnyvale, CA
The future of defense will be decided by those who field intelligent machines at scale. At Scout, we’re developing Fury, the first robotic foundation model for defense, to give U.S. forces overwhelming, adaptable, and autonomous power across every domain. Fury enables human operators to command fleets of robots through natural language, and empowers those machines to sense, decide, and act together as one. This mission will ask everything of us: urgency, precision, and relentless work.
The Role
We’re building autonomous vehicles and need a hands-on technician to keep our fleet healthy and help build new vehicles. This is one role with two main responsibilities. The larger segment is fleet ownership: you’re the person who knows the state of every vehicle, what it needs, and when it will be ready. The other portion is vehicle build and upfit, where you work from drawings and work instructions to help get new vehicles built.
You’ll sit on the Vehicle Integration team and be the link between Engineering and Mission Operations (MOPS), so you’ll need to be comfortable with both the wrenches and the tracking systems. You’ll be based at HQ, with regular travel to our testing facility. This is a chance to come in early and build the processes that keep a fleet of autonomous vehicles in the field.
