Fleet Officer

Role Summary
- We are seeking a diligent Fleet Officer to manage and optimize our vehicle fleet supporting production, distribution, and field operations.
- The Fleet Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance tracking, and compliance oversight of the Company's vehicle fleet, ensuring vehicles are roadworthy, properly utilized, and operated in line with Company policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an up-to-date register of all Company vehicles, including documentation, insurance, and licensing status
- Schedule and track routine vehicle maintenance, servicing, and repairs
- Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, and vehicle usage logs across routes
- Ensure drivers comply with the Company's Fleet Vehicle Use Policy and relevant traffic regulations
- Coordinate vehicle allocation for Van Sales Rep, Sales/Merchandizing, and farm operations
- Investigate and report vehicle incidents, accidents, or policy breaches
- Liaise with vendors, mechanics, and insurance providers on vehicle-related matters
- Maintain accurate fleet cost and maintenance records for Management reporting
- Support driver recruitment, onboarding, and periodic performance checks
Requirements
- HND/BSc in Transport Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in fleet, logistics, or transport management (FMCG/food production industry an advantage)
- Sound knowledge of vehicle maintenance scheduling and fleet documentation
- Valid driver's license; strong understanding of Nigerian road traffic regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and record-keeping tools
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to travel as required.
Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 monthly.
