About the Role The Fleet Assist is a part-time field support role responsible for keeping vehicles clean, inspected, and dispatch-ready for the next day’s operation. You’ll perform daily post-route inspections, document damage or maintenance concerns, maintain interior cleanliness, verify equipment, and assist the Fleet Manager with fleet readiness and compliance. What You'll Do
- Perform complete daily vehicle inspections returning from route each day using company-approved inspection software and procedures.
- Document all vehicle damage, cleanliness issues, and maintenance concerns; photograph damage when required.
- Immediately report safety concerns or out-of-service vehicles to the Fleet Manager.
- Verify all inspections are completed before leaving each shift.
