Job title: Flagship Senior Store Manager (m/w/d), LEGO Store München Zentrum
About the Role Lead and empower the LEGO Store München Zentrum team to deliver inspiring customer experiences and strengthen the LEGO brand. You will model leadership on the sales floor, drive service excellence, and partner with LEGO Group colleagues to achieve strong commercial results while safeguarding brand values.
What You'll Do
- Be a role model for the sales team and authentic brand ambassador of LEGO.
- Spend at least 50% of time on the sales floor to ensure compliance with our service model, achieve outstanding results in regular Mystery Shops and NPS feedback, and motivate the team to deliver excellent LEGO brand experiences.
- Recruit, lead, inspire and develop your leadership team and entire sales team to ensure sustainable success.
- Foster development through active coaching and performance management; ensure continuous learning via product knowledge and service training.
- Manage store results; reach and exceed KPIs, monitor business processes, ensure flawless product presentation and cleanliness, and increase efficiency and profitability through consistent execution of operating store standards.
- Build relationships and foster a collaborative working environment in the store.
- Work closely with LEGO Group partners in operations and HR, including Retail Marketing, Retail Operations, EHS, and HR partnerships.
- Contribute to our shared success; represent LEGO Brand Retail as Senior Store Manager and shape guest impressions with every interaction; lead with decisiveness; maintain safety and security standards.
- Willingness to support other stores in the D/A/CH region on a temporary basis.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive store management experience in an international retail environment.
- At least 5 years of experience leading a large retail team (40+), including a leadership team.
- Strong interest in learning innovative retail concepts and creating an outstanding brand experience.
- Proven track record of driving and achieving commercial results.
- Leadership capability and experience in team development; able to work with employees at all levels and adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and coaching skills.
- Knowledge and experience with retail POS systems and store operations; budgeting, P&L, scheduling, theft prevention, and cash management are a plus.
- Willingness to flexible working hours; occasional travel may be required.
- You should love LEGO and enjoy direct customer contact; you see yourself as a leader with experience leading a store.
