Job title: Fitness Test Administrator (PRN)
About the Role The Fitness Test Administrator (PRN) will execute Physical Fitness Exams for the United States Postal Inspection Service, setting up test stations, administering push-ups, sit-ups, and the 1.5-mile run, and capturing results with strict timing and SOP adherence. Sessions are scheduled in three-hour blocks, typically with three hours of work per event, under the guidance of a Site Lead.
What You'll Do
- Set up test stations to specification; verify measured distances and lap markers.
- Administer events in sequence; enforce form standards and counting rules; record official times.
- Enter data into the secure field app; reconcile discrepancies with the Site Lead.
- Support two-person validation and sign the score sheet.
- Perform written calibration checks at setup (distance verification and timer spot-checks).
- Apply consistent “no-rep” protocols with clear verbal cues that do not confer advantage.
- Record rest intervals to the session timeline to support auditability.
- Complete a quarterly skills check (timing accuracy and counting concordance within tolerance).
- Travel up to 0-10% as needed.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s in a related field preferred.
- Current CPR/AED preferred; one or more years in structured fitness testing, coaching, or officiating.
- Proficiency with mobile data capture.
- Pass Concentric Methods Scoring and QA module with ≥ 98% blinded accuracy.
- Sign annual conflict-of-interest and confidentiality attestations.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
Nice to Have
- CPR/AED certification (preferred) and related fitness credentials or coaching background (preferred).
- Ability to travel 0-10% (as needed).
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate: $36.51 per hour.
