Job title: Fitness Center Attendant
About the Role Villanova University's Fitness Center Attendant is a part-time, on-campus role supporting Campus Recreation. You will welcome facility users, provide safe and clear instructions on the use of cardiovascular and weight training equipment, and assist with equipment inspection, maintenance, and cleaning while enforcing policies.
What You'll Do
- Welcome, greet and provide friendly assistance to facility users.
- Provide safe and effective instructions on the operation of all cardiovascular and weight training equipment.
- Inspect, maintain and clean all exercise equipment.
- Inform facility users of various Campus Recreation announcements.
- Enforce all facility and program policies.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Currently a Villanova student.
- Work-study eligible preferred but open to all students.
- Availability to work 6-20 hours per week.
- Willingness to work on campus (onsite).
- Ability to perform the duties listed above (customer service, equipment operation, cleaning and maintenance, policy enforcement).
- Ability to provide availability (days and times) as part of the application process.
