About the Role Safety-driven emergency response professional who can effectively respond to fires, alarms, and other emergencies to protect people, property, and equipment. The role requires emergency first aid and CPR training, clear communication under pressure, and the ability to perform general labor in hazardous environments.
What You'll Do
- Respond to fire alarms and emergencies and assist with controlling incipient-stage fires.
- Administer basic first aid and assist individuals affected by fire or smoke.
- Communicate clearly during high-pressure incidents using alarms, radios, and verbal commands.
- Participate in firefighting drills and training; perform general labor tasks (lifting, digging, carrying materials, site cleanup).
- Use hand tools for routine non-machine construction and maintenance; work effectively as part of a team in physically demanding environments.
- Be physically capable of working in confined spaces, at heights exceeding 50 feet, outdoors in varying weather; wear required PPE including respiratory protection.
- Obtain or maintain Emergency First Aid and CPR certification as required.
What We're Looking For
- Current or ability to obtain Emergency First Aid and CPR certification.
- Experience responding to fires and emergencies; safety-focused with strong verbal communication.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments; comfortable with heights and confined spaces; PPE use.
- Willingness to participate in drills and training.
- Ability to perform general labor tasks and operate hand tools.
- Team player with flexibility to adapt to project needs.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in industrial or construction safety roles.
