About the Role Total Fire Protection is expanding rapidly and seeks a Service Technician – Fire Alarm Division to support the fire alarm systems service portfolio. The role will directly oversee all duties and tasks of this functional discipline and will operate primarily in the field, coordinating with the team to ensure reliable system performance and incident response. What You'll Do
- Service, troubleshoot, and inspect fire alarm systems
- Respond to emergency on-call requests and travel as needed
- Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections
- Document work and coordinate with dispatch and customers
- Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with NFPA 72 and other standards What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of fire alarm and low-voltage service experience
- Knowledge of NFPA 72
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel and respond to emergencies on-call
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills Nice to Have
- NICET and FDNY S98 preferred Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $30-$60 per hour (hourly)
