About the Role The Fire Alarm Engineer will support sales and operations for Bosch Building Technologies North America, focusing on design, estimates, and project execution to meet code and customer requirements. This role requires strong technical knowledge of fire alarm systems, excellent communication with customers, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do
- Design/Build fire alarm projects to meet code and customer requirements.
- Perform take-offs of engineered projects and prepare estimates.
- Provide technical reviews of engineered projects for code compliance and customer requirements.
- Support sales and operations with customer communications and proposal development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated security, life-safety, and building automation solutions. What We're Looking For
- 5+ years field and system design experience
- 2+ years fire alarm experience
- Microsoft Office and Blue Beam/Adobe familiarity
- Database experience
- Valid driver record
- Background check
- U.S. work authorization
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment; strong customer service, public speaking, and writing/email etiquette Nice to Have
