Job title: Finisher - Operations
About the Role The finisher will perform belting, stoning and gauging operations on metal castings, defined as turbine components or castings of comparable weight and size (from approximately 5 to 50 pounds). This role requires operating and maintaining equipment efficiently within a precision manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Operate and maintain equipment for belting, stoning and gauging metal castings (5–50 pounds) to support turbine component production.
- Handle hazardous waste in accordance with MSDS and company policy.
- Perform all clean and cap operations, including clean & cap tasks, mega dip, mold prep, dewax, flash fire and special lot expediting.
- Ensure proper calibration, inspection and housekeeping to sustain process quality.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot finishing equipment and processes.
- Familiarity with hazardous waste handling as per MSDS and company policy.
- Experience with or willingness to learn mold prep, dewax, and other casting finishing processes.
