About the Role Hinshaw & Culbertson seeks a mid-level litigation associate to join the Consumer Financial Services practice in Florida. The role offers a high level of responsibility handling state and federal court matters defending financial institutions in single-plaintiff litigation and appeals. What You'll Do
- Manage depositions, mediations, and hearings as part of defense of financial institutions in consumer financial services matters.
- Work on state and federal court litigation and appeals in single-plaintiff matters.
- Conduct legal research, draft briefs, and participate in strategy development. What We're Looking For
- Must be admitted to the Florida Bar in good standing.
- Ideal candidates will have 2-5 years of financial services, mortgage servicing, contested foreclosure, and/or Florida commercial litigation experience.
- Experience handling depositions, mediation, and attending hearings.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills. Nice to Have
