Job Description Bartum Energy is experiencing significant growth and is seeking a skilled Financial Reporting & Tax Accountant to join its finance team in Abuja. This role is integral to the company's ongoing financial governance reform within the dynamic renewable energy sector.
In this foundational position, you will be responsible for IFRS reporting, ensuring compliance with Withholding Tax (WHT), Value Added Tax (VAT), and Corporate Income Tax (CIT). You will also manage IFRS 15 revenue recognition and provide crucial support during audits. Working directly with the Finance Controller, you will play a key part in a high-growth company.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and prepare financial reports in accordance with IFRS.
- Ensure compliance with WHT, VAT, and CIT regulations.
- Implement and manage IFRS 15 revenue recognition standards.
- Provide support for internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with the Finance Controller on financial strategies.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Professional accounting certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA).

Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial reporting and tax.

Strong knowledge of IFRS and Nigerian tax laws.
