- The company is hiring a Financial Reporting Accountant in Lagos. Hybrid mode. Salary ranges from ₦300,000 to ₦500,000 monthly.
Section: Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Analyse financial data and provide insights for decision-making
- Ensure accuracy of financial records and reports
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with management reports and board packs
- Support audits with required schedules and documentation
- Ensure tax, statutory and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with teams and clients to improve reporting processes
- Monitor financial performance, risks and opportunities
Section: Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 2–3 years’ relevant financial reporting experience, preferably in consulting or professional services
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage
- ICAN/ACCA certification or in progress is an advantage
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
