Financial Operations Support - Hybrid (Contract) - Jersey City, NJ

About the Role Volt is immediately hiring for Financial Operations Support in Jersey City, NJ to support the Capital Markets business within MS Wealth Management CMCPR. The Settlement team manages the day-to-day trade lifecycle, including settlement and trade matching across asset classes, with significant interaction with financial advisors, branch management, compliance and risk teams. The role collaborates with Operations, IT and business stakeholders to analyze, define and deliver operational and technology processes, and expects leadership in various programs while delivering reliable solutions. What You'll Do

• Provide operational support to the Capital Markets business within Morgan Stanley Wealth Management as part of CMCPR.
• Manage day-to-day trade lifecycle tasks, including trade settlement and matching across asset classes and platforms.
• Liaise with internal teams (Business Specialists, Branch Management, Compliance, Risk) and external market centers and counterparties.
• Handle conflicting events and prioritize urgent tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in Operations, IT and the Business to analyze, define and deliver technology and operational process improvements; take ownership of deliverables. What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's Degree.
• A minimum of 2 years of financial services industry experience.
• General knowledge of financial markets and investment products, specifically Trade Settlements (DTCC, Fed, Government).
• Settlement experience (FED, US Treasury, DTC).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a high degree of attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment with focus on innovation and flexibility.
• Efficient time management and ability to prioritize competing urgent tasks.
• Team player with the ability to work in a team or independently.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge; strong reasoning and problem-solving skills; ownership mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Alteryx a plus. Nice to Have
• Alteryx experience (preferred). Compensation & Benefits
• Pay Rate: $30.00-$33.24 per hour based on skill level.
