A Snapshot of Your Day Join our dynamic team at Siemens Energy Real Estate EU Hub as a Finance Controlling Intern! In this exciting role, you will dive into the world of financial management, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for our Real Estate activities. You will collaborate closely with the Real Estate Finance team, ensuring transparent financial performance reporting while engaging with local business stakeholders and internal finance teams. If you are curious, analytical, and eager to gain practical experience in finance controlling within a real estate environment, this internship is the perfect opportunity for you!

How You’ll Make an Impact

Support accurate financial reporting for Real Estate activities, preparing reviews of actuals, budgets, and forecasts.
Assist with month-end closing activities, including reporting, risk and opportunities analysis, and variance analysis.
Monitor key financial metrics such as gross cost, free cash flow, profit impact, and capital expenditure, preparing regular reports for management.
Contribute to process improvements and reporting enhancements, implementing new business tools and finance processes while utilizing AI tools to streamline routine tasks.
Support ad-hoc analysis and presentations to aid decision-making within the Real Estate Finance team.

What You Bring

Currently studying towards, or recently completed, a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills with a keen interest in financial controlling, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with databases, SAP, Power BI, thinkcell, Analysis for Excel, or SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus.
Forward-thinking mindset with a natural inclination to leverage AI tools for efficiency.
Excellent communication skills, a willingness to learn, attention to detail, and a proactive, team-oriented approach. Proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
