Financial Controller

As a Financial Controller, you are responsible for managing the company’s accounting, taxation, treasury and reporting in close collaboration with the external Certified Accountant and auditors and make sure our legal housekeeping (compliance, governance, …) is up to date. Together with the country lead and the local admin team, you oversee all tasks related to vendor management, purchasing & ordering and travel bookings to keep everything running smoothly. You play a key role in supporting business growth and maintaining governance standards, working closely with both the local management and the group leadership in Belgium, ensuring accurate and timely compliance.

You are responsible for:

• Accounting and taxes (GST, TDS, income taxes)
• Monthly financial reporting to our Head Office and management
• Providing budget and forecasting input
• Managing vendors and treasury
• Travel management and cost monitoring
• Legal housekeeping (board resolutions, etc.)
• Providing local operational support

About you

Essential talents and qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s in accounting, finance, or a related field with 5–8 years of experience in analytical accounting within a multinational company.
• In-depth knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, Companies Act compliance, and corporate governance.
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, including variance analysis and management reporting.
• Experience in overseeing end-to-end finance operations and the administrative functions that support business growth, including vendor and contract management.
• Proven track record in process improvement and cost optimization projects.
• Ability to connect and network with colleagues and manage stakeholders at local and group level.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with (implementing) MS Dynamics 365
