About the Role As a Financial Consultant II at MetLife, you will provide day-to-day financial support for multiple Regional Market/Specialty Accounts, delivering accurate reporting and analytical insights to help meet client objectives. What You'll Do
- Develop and complete customer financial reports, identify reporting needs, perform data and trend analysis, and communicate results to meet client needs.
- Prepare year-end financial accounting and ERISA reporting for clients; validate monthly revenue projections and ensure data integrity.
- Monitor key financial parameters of internal management reporting and proactively identify discrepancies, trends, and results that would impact Customer Unit financial objectives.
- Participate in client meetings (in person or via conference call), prepare materials as needed, participate in client account audits, and actively engage in strategic planning. What We're Looking For
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
- 5-7+ years of experience in financial consulting, accounting, or related fields.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal. Nice to Have
- Advanced accounting/math problem solving skills, including attention to detail, analytical thinking and decisiveness.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; MS Access experience is a plus.
- Strong project management skills and ability to work autonomously or with others to effectively handle multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines appropriately, and remain flexible.
- Firm knowledge of group products, services and systems. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: USD 74,500 - 99,300 per year.
- This role may be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives.
