About the Role
The Financial Analyst/Administrator will oversee the planning and supervision of the fiscal administrative activities of the Department of Emergency Medicine (UCEM). This role supports financial management, reporting, and budgeting to enable UCEM to advance its clinical, educational, and research missions under guidance from a supervisor.
What You'll Do

Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and accounts payable/receivable monthly.

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely payments.

Maintain the general ledger and prepare journal entries.

Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures.

Prepare and assist in budget-related tasks; assist with development of budgetary forecasts.

Assist in the development and documentation of department policies and procedures.

Input financial transactions into university systems and related financial tasks.

What We're Looking For
-
Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field (four (4) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training may be used in lieu of education).

Related finance or accounting experience.

Experience reconciling bank statements, general ledger, and handling accounts payable/receivable and journal entries.

Ability to work in an office environment with attention to accuracy and confidentiality.
