Job title: Financial Analyst
About the Role The Financial Analyst is the financial lead supporting the assigned organization or business unit. You will be responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance and review of financial policies, plans, procedures, analyses and controls across areas including accounting, planning and forecasting, payroll, treasury, audit and taxation. This role supports monthly/quarterly reporting, close activities and provides financial analysis to drive business decisions.
What You'll Do
- Provide monthly/quarterly outlooks and variance analysis
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis
- Prepare and perform journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support monthly close
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis as required
- Provide Financial Planning & Analysis support
- P&L reporting and analysis and planning
- Analysis and validation of accruals for indirect business
- Analysis and accounting for Contra Revenue streams complying with Sarbanes-Oxley principles for revenue recognition
What We're Looking For
- Individual contributor role with regular interface to management and functional peers; may interface with vendors as required
- Strong knowledge and experience across financial policies, planning, accounting, payroll, treasury, audit and taxation
- Ability to apply best practices, act as a resource for colleagues and make decisions guided by policies, procedures and business plans
- Domestic scope/accountability with the ability to work within a team and across functions
- Proactive analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
