Zeus Industrial Products in South Carolina is looking for an individual to support financial operational functions within Financial Planning, Cost Accounting, and Fixed Assets Accounting. This role includes preparing financial reports, budgeting, and forecasting across the business.

The ideal candidate will hold a BS degree in Accounting or Finance and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with ERP systems is beneficial, making this position key for the financial health of the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus, particularly Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close of the general ledger.
• Support preparation of financial reporting packages.
• Develop tools for budgeting and forecasting.
• Complete weekly cash flow forecasting.
• Assist with annual risk management requests.
• Help with audits of raw materials and fixed assets.
• Complete ad hoc requests for financial analyses.

• Description Supports all aspects of operational functions within Financial Planning & Analysis, Cost Accounting, and Fixed Assets Accounting. Assists with the development and maintenance of critical reports, models, and metrics that will be used for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analyses across the business.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the month-end close of the general ledger, as needed
• Supports preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages
• Supports development of tools, models, and templates required for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analyses
• Completes weekly cash flow forecasting
• Maintains updates to annual insurance/risk management requests from 3rd party provider
• Assists with quarterly and year-end raw material, finished goods, and fixed asset audits as requested
• Completes ad hoc requests, reports, and analyses for Financial Planning & Analysis, Cost Accounting, and Fixed Assets Accounting

Qualifications

• BS degree in Accounting or Finance
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with strong Excel skills, is essential
• Experience with ERP systems: Oracle experience a plus
• Basic understanding of forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling
• Basic understanding of cost accounting
• Prior experience with transactional accounting and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements is preferred
