Job title: Financial Analyst
About the Role The Financial Analyst provides financial insight, analysis, and decision support across the organization. Turn data into insights, build models, and support key manufacturing business decisions. Working closely with the finance and operations teams, you will help drive profitability and efficiency within the company.
What You'll Do
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and key financial metrics
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Analyze operational performance and provide insights to senior management
- Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
- Develop financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying trends and areas of concern
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions, including product line profitability, capital expenditures, and operational efficiency projects
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and project analysis
- Provide decision support for various functional areas, including manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information, identify key drivers, and develop insights to support decision-making
- Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, procedures, and controls
- Assist in internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and supporting analysis
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting
- Experience with budgeting, variance analysis, and financial reporting
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate insights to non-financial stakeholders
- Knowledge of internal controls and audit processes
Nice to Have
- Certifications: CPA, CMA, or other related certification (preferred)
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
