About the Role KAIROS, Inc is searching for an energetic, experienced, and highly motivated Financial Analyst, Journeyman, to join our team. This position is contingent upon contract award. The role will support a program office located at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, focusing on quantitative financial analyses, budgeting, and program financial management to optimize performance and compliance. What You'll Do
- Conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions.
- Provide budget support for the program office to include budget preparation, financial performance monitoring and reporting.
- Manage financial data, tracking budget allocations, and ensuring accurate financial documentation within the program office.
- Track project spend plans in comparison to actuals to identify trends and areas of concern in financial data. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business management, finance, accounting, or other technical-related disciplines; or an Associate’s degree with two years of additional work experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s.
- Three to seven years of experience performing financial analyst duties supporting the DoD.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully work with large and diverse teams; strong customer relations, analytics, and documentation skills.
- Self-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to quality; Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environment; ability to work independently; multitask and meet deadlines; detail oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills to provide clear status and/or communicate issues.
- Ability to adapt to evolving technology; U.S. citizenship and eligibility for government security clearance. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year (USD).
