About the Role Marex is seeking a Financial Analyst, FP&A to provide reliable data and analysis for monthly financial reporting and to develop models and dashboards that inform decisions. The role is based in Chicago with in-office requirements of at least four days per week. It combines financial planning, reporting, and process improvement to support efficient, compliant operations in a regulated financial services environment. What You'll Do
- Prepare and distribute monthly payout reports for internal brokers.
- Prepare, analyze, and distribute monthly customer profitability reporting.
- Create internal dashboard for customer profitability reporting.
- Update variance analysis reports and financial models and enhance models when possible.
- Analyze monthly financial results and investigate inconsistencies and variances.
- Produce daily reports as required.
- Assist in the month-end close process (reporting/consolidation activities).
- Seek opportunities to automate the financial reporting processes.
- Assist with various ad-hoc projects, analysis, presentation requests, and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements relevant to the role.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other exchanges; adhere to the operational risk framework and Marex Code of Conduct. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
- 3-5 years of experience in an FP&A role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills and modeling.
- Experience with Essbase/SmartView and PeopleSoft preferred.
- Experience with Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot, Tableau preferred.
- Understanding of basic accounting, procedures, and GAAP.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of risk and compliance requirements.

- Experience with Essbase/SmartView and PeopleSoft.

- Salary range: $80,000 - $115,000 per year, with discretionary bonus.
