Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, forecasting, business performance analysis, and investment-related decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to identify trends and variances.
• Build and maintain financial models covering revenue, costs, profitability, and valuation.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Conduct actual vs. budget/forecast variance analysis.
• Evaluate business performance, pricing, and cost structures.
• Assist with investment appraisals, ROI analysis, and business case development.
• Monitor KPIs and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Procurement, and other teams to gather data and align financial goals.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Support M&A analysis, capital allocation, and pricing strategy where required.
• Handle commercial paper and bond issuance processes.

Requirements

• B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a reputable tertiary institution.
• 2–5 years’ relevant experience in financial analysis or a related role.
• MBA (Finance), ACCA, CFA, or ACA is an added advantage.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Proficiency in ERP/BI tools such as SAP, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial findings to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
