Position Financial Aid Advisor - Full-time - On Campus

UNOH is seeking candidates for the position of Financial Aid Officer within the Financial Aid Department. This position is a full time, 12-month administrative position. The University of Northwestern Ohio is an entrepreneurial, not-for-profit institution of higher learning. Job Overview: Responsible for advising students and parents with Financial Aid information, processing of financial aid data records including verification and the packaging of financial aid offers for students, and will provide administrative support for the Financial Aid Department via projects and reporting responsibilities. Ensures the effective and efficient delivery of financial aid within the guidelines established by Federal and State agencies to all eligible students.

Requirements

1+ years of experience with Title IV administration preferred, but not required
-
2+ years of office experience preferred, providing service in a professional, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
-
Associate’s Degree or higher preferred.

Demonstrate mentoring, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
-
Problem-solving, fact-finding analysis, and research skills
-
High level of personal integrity and ethics
-
Significant attention to detail, strong written communication and oral skills to support professional customer service
-
Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently

Competency in the use of technology and other office equipment
