About the Role The Financial Advisor is a frontline member of Scotiabank's Canadian Banking Branch network. The role focuses on delivering exceptional service, understanding customer needs, and helping clients build comprehensive financial plans to achieve their goals. You will operate within a purpose-driven, inclusive, performance-oriented culture that supports development and growth. What You'll Do

• Take a proactive approach to discovering customer needs, listening to understand what they are asking for
• Educate customers, provide relevant insights and expert advice
• Build customers' comprehensive plans using a holistic approach to help them achieve their goals
• Nurture strong, long-standing relationships
• Develop, retain and grow the branch business by delivering against individual and team sales goals that support a positive customer experience What We're Looking For
• Appetite and drive to build strong customer relationships and deliver excellent customer service
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment that aligns to a customer's stated goals
• To uncover and solve for customers’ needs
