Financial Accountant II ( With Spanish Language Proficiency)

About the Role ICON plc is seeking a Financial Accountant II to manage monthly financial information, prepare statements, and ensure compliance with accounting standards across multiple entities. The role supports financial reporting and statutory filings, with Spanish language proficiency to liaise with local and regional stakeholders. What You'll Do

• Prepare monthly financial information for two or more entities, including Management Accounts.
• Handle Trial Balance and maintain Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Calculate cost-plus revenue.
• Ensure VAT returns, CT returns and all statutory filings are finished in accordance with local legislation & timelines.
• Partner and liaise with local financial advisors to ensure efficient information flows and accurate local accounts.
• Ensure all processes are SOX compliant.
• Weekly cash-flow monitoring and reporting.
• Liaise with and collaborate with external auditors at group and local levels.
• Assist with forecast and budget preparation.
• Assist and support the Finance Manager with various information requirements. What We're Looking For
• Qualified Professionals – CA / CMA/ CPA.
• Minimum 2 years experience post-qualification with accounts preparation experience.
• Experience in R2R, GL, P&L, VAT, Reconciliations, Financial Statements.
• Proficient in Spanish Language (Read, Write, Speak).
• Confident using Excel at an advanced level. Comfortable using systems.
• Oracle Financials experience would be a bonus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to convert financial data to understandable information.
• Ability to work on own initiative. A strong team player and collaborator.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
