Mercor is hiring a Finance Program Coordinator to support a leading AI lab’s GenAI team and help coordinate finance-focused training data programs.
The role combines finance operations, program coordination, quality management and team coordination. The selected professional will help keep finance-domain raters and training-data workflows organised, resolve execution issues, monitor quality and throughput, and ensure finance-related AI training tasks are completed consistently and accurately.
The position is suited to experienced finance professionals who have progressed into roles involving project coordination, contributor management, quality monitoring and cross-functional execution.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day activities between finance-domain raters and the broader AI training-data program.

Track finance-related tasks and identify execution gaps.

Design and maintain task-tracking and escalation workflows.

Establish quality-check processes for finance evaluation tasks.

Monitor rater throughput and quality indicators.

Prepare clear written status updates and performance feedback.

Triage finance-specific questions raised by raters and contributors.

Escalate ambiguous or complex cases to appropriate subject matter experts.

Coordinate with subject matter experts and program leads.

Help maintain consistency and accuracy across finance training data.

Support timely completion of finance evaluation work against required quality standards.

Required Qualifications

5–10 years of professional experience in finance or finance operations.

Proven experience coordinating cross-functional teams or projects.

Direct experience managing or coordinating contributors, reviewers, analysts, raters or similar teams.

Demonstrated career progression, such as Analyst → Senior Analyst → Program/Project Coordinator.

Ability to reliably commit at least 35 hours per week during weekdays.

The role is remote and can be performed on a flexible schedule within the project’s requirements.

Compensation
$40 – $60 per hour
