Job title: Finance Marketing Director
About the Role The Finance Marketing Director is a strategic finance leader within Adobe's Global Marketing Organization, supporting the Customer Marketing Group with primary focus on the Creativity & Productivity marketing organization. The role partners with GMO and C&P leadership to drive data-informed decisions, optimize investments, and guide cross-functional priorities across Product Marketing, Go-to-Market, GMO, and Finance.
What You'll Do
- Provide strategic finance leadership for the GMO VP of Customer Marketing and the C&P marketing teams. Act as a proactive thought partner, moving discussions from reporting results to understanding drivers, implications, and actions.
- Guide cross-functional alignment of investment priorities and strategic decisions across Product Marketing, Go-to-Market, GMO, and Finance leadership teams.
- Deliver recurring business reviews and executive reporting translating financial and marketing trends into actionable recommendations.
- Proactively identify diminishing returns and budget reallocation opportunities to improve marketing value and investment efficiency.
- Partner with Product Marketing and Growth Marketing Insights to evaluate performance trends and optimize marketing investments across the funnel.
- Build and maintain an executive-level Marketing ROI scorecard for ongoing program performance and spend efficiency.
- Own end-to-end financial management of a variable marketing budget (> $1B annually), lead quarterly forecast cycles, risk/opportunity assessments, and scenario planning.
- Establish investment guardrails, approval workflows, and budget shifts balancing financial control with marketing agility.
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team and represent marketing finance in cross-functional leadership forums.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with strong background in topline product/go-to-market finance and/or marketing finance in a consumer-facing business.
- Expertise evaluating marketing efficiency, including multi-channel investment analysis, attribution methodologies, and/or media mix modeling.
- Proven track record leading new financial capabilities, processes, and ways of working within marketing finance and/or FP&A.
- Advanced financial modeling skills; proficiency in Excel and planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, SAP).
- Experience with BI and visualization tools (PowerBI).
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
Compensation & Benefits The U.S. pay range for this position is $148,500 -- $302,850 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and experience.
