Job Description
- The Finance Manager will oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the solar panel manufacturing operations.
- This role ensures proper cost control, efficient allocation of resources, and compliance with all financial regulations while supporting strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow for the subsidiary.
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP/AR, payroll, and reconciliations.
- Implement cost control measures to enhance profitability.
- Prepare and present monthly/quarterly financial reports to senior management.
- Ensure tax compliance and timely submission of statutory filings.
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions.
- Support investment decisions with accurate financial analysis.
- Establish and monitor internal financial controls to mitigate risks.
- Provide financial insights to guide operational and commercial strategies.
- Lead and develop the finance team to maintain high-performance standards.
- Monitor the impact of currency fluctuations on procurement and imports.
- Drive ERP or financial software improvements for efficient reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in financial management, ideally in manufacturing or energy.
- Proven experience with cost control in production environments.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax laws, and compliance frameworks.
- Advanced skills in financial modeling and data analysis.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced startup-like environment.
- Strong business acumen and decision-making capabilities.
- Experience with foreign exchange management is an added advantage.
Salary
N300,000 – N400,000 / month.
