Join CBRE and take ownership of the financial performance of a significant retail property portfolio. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, influence commercial outcomes and provide the financial insight that drives strategic decision-making across a high-profile client account.

The Opportunity:

• Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Review and approve journal entries prepared by the accounting group and manage the preparation of operational and financial statements.
• Prepare and manage outgoings reconciliations, budgets, and wash-ups.
• Oversee and manage the calculation of Percentage Rent, Extended Trade, Occupancy Capping, and Direct Recharges including overview of major tenant’s calculations
• Ensure compliance with company policies, generally accepted accounting principles, and regulations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• CPA, CA or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Substantial retail property accounting experience, including progressive supervisory or management responsibility.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving capability.
• Clear written and verbal communication, with confidence engaging senior management, employees and external auditors.
• Advanced accounting systems and software knowledge; MRI or Yardi experience is valued.
