About this role
We are seeking a Finance Manager for an upstream Oil & Gas Services company based in Lagos, Nigeria. The role focuses on leading financial planning, reporting, budgeting, compliance, and strategic decision-making. Ideal candidates will have strong experience in financial management within the Oil & Gas industry and hold relevant professional certifications (ACA/ACCA).
Responsibilities
- Lead the financial planning process, including budgeting and forecasting
- Oversee financial reporting and ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Manage compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Provide strategic financial insight to support decision-making at the leadership level
- Monitor financial performance and implement controls to safeguard company assets
- Collaborate with other departments to align financial management with business objectives
- Support audit activities and improve internal financial processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
- Relevant professional certification is an added advantage (ACA/ACCA for Finance roles)
- Minimum of 7–10 years of relevant experience (role dependent)
- Prior experience in the Upstream Oil & Gas Services sector is highly preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
