Finance Manager
We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial health and strategic financial management for a forward-thinking e-hailing company, covering planning, reporting, compliance, cash flow, and financial controls.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Monitor daily rental revenue, driver payments, and fleet financial performance
- Conduct variance analysis and provide strategic profitability insights
- Manage cash flow planning, treasury operations, and banking relationships
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws (VAT, PAYE, WHT, etc.)
- Coordinate internal/external audits and liaise with tax consultants and regulators
- Oversee accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, and financial controls
- Implement and strengthen internal control systems to prevent fraud and leakages
- Monitor operational costs and recommend cost optimization strategies
- Support fleet expansion planning, capital investments, and funding strategies
- Supervise and mentor finance team members
- Develop and update financial policies and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
- Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) required
- 5–8 years' progressive finance experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial/supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and Nigerian tax regulations
- Experience in mobility, logistics, leasing, or service-based industries is an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and financial reporting tools
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
