Job description

What you will do in this role:

• Manage day-to-day financial operations of the project, including budgeting, disbursement, and reporting.
• Supervise finance officers across state offices to ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
• Review and process financial transactions in line with organizational and donor policy.
• Prepare periodic financial reports for management and donor review.
• Support budget monitoring and variance analysis at the project and state levels.
• Deliver against the approved GHSD milestone plan and quarterly performance targets, integrating services across the HIV, TB, malaria, and MNCH platform and progressively transferring functions to Government of Nigeria ownership.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts and resolution of financial discrepancies.

Minimum recruitment standard

Qualifications and experience we look for:

• At least eight (8) years of progressive experience in financial management, with experience on USG-funded projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of donor financial compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
