Overview
EISS is seeking a disciplined Finance Manager to oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, statutory compliance, budgeting, and financial risk management, ensuring accurate reporting and sound financial decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Prepare income statements, cash flow statements, balance sheets, and management accounts.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial records.
- Implement financial controls and ensure spending aligns with approved budgets.
- Manage monthly payroll and statutory remittances, including taxes and pensions.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws and IFRS standards.
- Lead budgeting, financial forecasting, variance analysis, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Monitor liquidity and operational risks and provide financial insights to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- Mandatory ICAN or ACCA qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years’ end-to-end accounting experience, preferably in a consulting firm or fast-paced startup.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, pension remittances, and IFRS.
- Proficiency in accounting CRM tools, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Experience preparing management accounts and financial forecasts under tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and professional integrity.
