About the Role Finance Manager for the Engineering function at Stanley Black & Decker's Taiwan Design Center in Taichung will lead financial planning, budgeting and cost control for engineering programs, partnering with engineering leadership to enable informed decision-making. What You'll Do
- Develop and manage budgets and forecasts for engineering programs at the Taiwan Design Center.
- Monitor cost performance, perform variance analysis, and prepare financial reporting for management.
- Collaborate with engineering managers to drive cost optimization, spending governance, and capital expenditure reviews.
- Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and internal controls.
- Support month-end close, audits, and process improvements in finance for engineering operations. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- 5+ years of financial management experience, ideally in manufacturing/engineering settings.
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency with ERP/FP&A tools, and financial modeling.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to work with technical teams.
- Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment; Mandarin and English proficiency is a plus. Nice to Have
- CPA/CMA certification, cost accounting experience, and familiarity with Taiwan market. Compensation & Benefits
