Finance Manager - Corporate Budget

About the Role The incumbent will oversee the financial impact of various departments on the corporate budget and financial statements. This role drives analyses, budgeting, forecasting, and ensures accurate financial reporting, partnering with operations to optimize spend. What You'll Do

• Create and update reports used for expense tracking and presentations to senior finance management.
• Prepare weekly/monthly variance summaries (Actual vs Budget vs Forecast) with concise drivers, risks, and recommended actions.
• Manage accrual process: gather inputs, validate support, submit/record accruals, and track reversals.
• Monitor budget pacing and forecast accuracy; identify emerging overruns/underspends early and propose mitigations.
• Ensure proper recognition of expenses and income for timely monthly closes.
• Conduct program audits to ensure results are documented and performance/goals are achieved as stated on request.
• Work with assigned Departments providing required support so they can better understand financial impact of program spending.
• Manage activities of up to two direct reports to facilitate the actions stated above across multiple business units.
• Organize and lead quarterly and annual Business Plan review meetings with Business Units. What We're Looking For
• BS in Finance/Accounting, or equivalent experience; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years in a Management role overseeing corporate budgets; automotive industry experience preferred.
• Experience managing direct reports; SAP experience strongly preferred.
• Experience communicating and coordinating with multiple departments; Marketing/Advertising spend experience preferred but not required.
• Specialized skills: Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables); excellent communication (oral and written).
• Demonstrated analytical abilities with the capacity to interpret finance-related matters and work with multiple data sets.
• Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion with sensitive or confidential information. Nice to Have
• MBA or additional advanced finance credentials.
• Marketing/Advertising spend experience. Compensation & Benefits
• Pay Range: $89,936.24 - $121,409 per year.
