About the Role
- Support the Financial Controller in maintaining accurate financial records, effective internal controls, timely reporting and compliance with statutory and group requirements.
- Act as the operational lead for the monthly closing process, accounting activities, audit support, financial schedules and day-to-day coordination of the Finance team.
- Review work prepared by Finance team members, resolve accounting and control issues, and escalate significant matters to the Financial Controller.
- Strengthen backup coverage and succession capability across accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, costing and finance operations.
- Ensure accounting records and supporting documentation are complete, accurate and retained in accordance with company requirements.
- Support the preparation and finalisation of annual financial statements and statutory accounts.
Your Skills and Experience
- Degree in Accounting or similar Accounting & Finance qualifications
- CPA, ACCA or related qualification is an advantage
- Experience in leading an accounting team, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of SAP S4 is an advantage
